Almost two decades ago, this former bank was renovated into a two-storey cocktail complex with a quartet of bars. The best seats are in the entrance-level Salon, with a high ceiling and the furnishings of an aristocrat’s reading room, and the lower-level Ka bar, dressed in brilliant gold washi by paper artist Eriko Horiki. The speciality is a green tea and chestnut cocktail called Soueki.
