Remembering iconic gangster-movie star Bunta Sugawara, who passed away last autumn at the age of 81, Ikebukuro's Shin-Bungeiza is putting on this tribute programme consisting of the tough guy's very best, including the entire Battles Without Honor and Humanity ('Jingi Naki Tatakai') series, Kazuo Hasegawa’s 1979 classic The Man Who Stole the Sun ('Taiyo o Nusunda Otoko') and highlights from the Truck Guy ('Torakku Yaro') series – a total of more than 20 films.
