Omen

With great udon, low prices, a cheerful atmosphere and one of the city’s biggest attractions, Ginkakuji, as a neighbour, it’s no surprise that this udon restaurant is always bustling. The signature dish is a bowl of vegetables topped with roasted sesame seeds, served alongside udon and sauce. There are three spin-off branches of Omen: two in downtown Kyoto and one in New York.
