Review

What this museum lacks in depth, it makes up for in breadth, with introductions to every conceivable form of traditional craft. There are brief English- language summaries and samples of many artistic pursuits, ranging from dyed kimonos to Noh masks to bamboo fishing rods to roof tiles. It’s a useful crash course in local culture.
