Review

On your pilgrimage to the nearby mega-temples, stop here for some uniquely Japanese desserts. Warabi mochi is a sweet, glutinous confection made from bracken starch and coated in toasted soybean flour. Think jelly, but gummier. You can pair it with green tea or amazake, a sweet non-alcoholic drink made from fermented rice.
