Le Petit Mec

Kyoto’s fanciest bakery is a tiny, takeaway joint with an all-black interior and staff dressed in Comme des Garcons. It sells all the requisite baguettes, croissants and tartes as well as bite-size rolls with restaurant-grade French fillings, such as escargot and potato puree or roast pork with plums in red wine.
