With only three tables and a prime location on Nishiki-koji market, this vegetarian restaurant fills up fast for lunch. There’s more chance of a seat, and more choice of food, when it opens for dinner after the market has gone silent. The food is home-cooked Japanese veggie fare, such as deep fried tofu, steamed Kyoto vegetables and brown rice stir-fry.
