It’s not much to look at, but this bustling 29-seater ramen shop is perennially popular, with lines of people waiting to get in most lunchtimes. There’s only one kind of ramen on offer: a rich, soy-flavoured soup with pork and noodles, made to a recipe that hasn’t changed since the store opened more than 60 years ago. It closes for just three and a half hours each day.
