Which museum houses the real-life Hachiko? What's the oldest sushi restaurant in Tokyo? Where should you head to rinse off after a jog around the Imperial Palace? Which ramen shop plays nothing but Carpenters songs all year round?
If you know the answers to all of these questions, you probably don't need to pick up Time Out Tokyo's newest guide. The rest of you, though, are advised to grab a copy of 88 Things to Do in Tokyo, a totally updated version of the hugely popular web feature that we first ran in February 2011. We've condensed the very best that the capital has to offer – from avant-garde fashion boutiques to traditional craft shops, high-tech maid cafés to vintage tearooms – and squeezed it into a pocket-sized pamphlet, complete with AR-enhanced map.
It's the latest in a series of maps that we've produced this year (you saw our area guides for Shibuya, Harajuku and Roppongi, right?) – all part of our mission to make this city a little more fun for visitors and residents alike.
