Enter the sexed up world of Jesper Haynes...

Photographer Jesper Haynes found the models for his latest exhibition while cycling around New York. In what can best be described as artistic nampa, he says he offered them his number and then simply waited for them to call and arrange a shoot. 'I was attracted to the sense that these were girls who had stepped outside of their conventional lives and fearlessly immersed themselves in the madness of New York,' he explains, and the resulting shots fizz with sexed-up energy. Catch up with Spike Jonze...

Spike Jonze’s latest short film, I’m Here (set to the heart-strumming eponymous tune by Aska Matsumiya) is an indie-techie romance between two robots, proving that androids may not dream of electrical sheep but they do dream of love. Behind-the-scenes video and artwork is on display at There are Many of Us — I’m Here, an exhibition held at Diesel Gallery. See full exhibition details here

Ponder cutting-edge photography...

Takashi Honma's latest exhibition, New Documentary, collates some of his past work, along with newer pieces that utilize in a variety of alternative media, including silkscreen printing and work developed specifically to be viewing through binoculars. An oddly fascinating series. See full exhibition details here

Hit up a mish-mash festival...

Writer, illustrator, essayist, singer and all-round everyman Lily Franky always intended his Zanzibar Night event to be a musical mish-mash. Now into its fourth year, the festival is about as eclectic as you can be when you've only got one stage and a single afternoon at your disposal. The latest features punk icon Akihiro Namba, febrile rockers 9mm Parabellum Bullet, idol group Momoiro Clover Z and comedy troubadour Ukulele Eiji, among others. See festival details here
