In any other city this would be a major attraction: 12,000 plants occupying 24ha, with colourful scenes throughout the year. There are zones for cherry blossom and autumn leaves, Western-style lawns and a bamboo grove. There is a greenhouse with tropical and subtropical plants, including the popular carnivores. It’s a great place to while away an afternoon, but who needs to while away time in a city like this?
