Once a sake brewhouse, now one of the city’s most popular live venues, Taku Taku has hosted several legends of blues and rock since opening in 1974. It still draws some recognisable names (Roy Ayers was a recent visitor), but most days you’ll find hot Japanese acts on stage. It is located two blocks south of the Downtown map.
