Ignoring the Stax connotation, this vast club blasts contemporary R&B, hip hop and techno for a just-old-enough-to-drink crowd. Although it originated in lively Osaka, Sam & Dave has proved a hit in this most traditional of cities. Saturday night parties draw up to 800 young locals.
