Forgive this hotel its name: the ‘Apartotel’ is one of the most stylish rental abodes in the city. There are just two rooms, furnished in an elegant, minimalist style by local design star Shin Nishibori (Efish, p50). Pick the larger room: for a small price hike, you get a bath and an enormous bed. The Apartotel sits atop the Prinz gallery-cafe-bar complex, which makes a great place for a nightcap. The downside: it’s a long trek from most of the sights.
