Negishi Memorial Racetrack & Equine Museum

Review

A wonderful park built on the site of Japan’s first Western-style racetrack - having served as a US naval base in the interim. (There is still some naval accommodation beside the park.) A derelict grandstand survives from its 19th-century glory days, and a museum examines horsey history and man’s relationship with the creatures.
