Taking place annually on the second Monday of January, seijin-shiki (Coming of Age Day) is a chance for Tokyo's teens-turning-twenty to don their most colourful togs and get out in the glorious, albeit frigid, sunshine. As kimono and hakama dot the streets around Shibuya's CC Lemon Hall, well-wishers and paparazzi descend, attempting to get the best pictures of the day.

Time Out Tokyo, as you can see, was no exception.
